Founded in 1988 as the Albis School of English in Affoltern am Albis, we have remained community focused and have grown to answer your needs in providing a broad range of diverse high quality language related services to your clients.
Our aim is to develop our participants’ confidence and competence in learning foreign languages according to the latest international standards. We are committed to providing practical and targeted tuition in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Our team of highly qualified teachers come from all over the world and represent a variety of cultures, so that our participants can benefit from a learning environment rich in interesting and new perspectives. All our teachers hold higher qualifications with focused certification for teaching adults.
We believe in providing balanced learning with promotion of all language aspects: reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension, using modern teaching materials targeted at the appropriate participation level.
The Albis Language School emphasises active and regular participation so that course participants can make the most of their respective courses.
Our bright, welcoming classrooms combine traditional structure with modern technology and personalised attention to create conditions for a pleasant, friendly and confidence-building learning environment that is accessible to all.

Head of the school since 2016, happily teaches English and manages courses, teachers and exams, continues to learn German and French, enjoys relaxing with her cats and a good book or renovating her old house.
